OUR
ALL IN ALL
BREAD
6 Remember
this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows
generously will also reap generously. 7 Each
man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or
under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And
God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all
times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (NIV)
5 Trust
in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in
all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
11 But
let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your
protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. 12 For
surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as
with a shield. Psalms 5:11-12 (NIV)
20 For
no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so
through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. 21 Now
it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set
his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit,
guaranteeing what is to come. 2
Corinthians 1:20-22 (NIV)
16 All
Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and
training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for
every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV)
1 Then
Job replied to the LORD: 2 “I
know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted. 3 You
asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my counsel without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke
of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know. 4 You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak; I will question
you, and you shall answer me.’ 5 My
ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. 6 Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.” Job 42:1-6 (NIV)
36 “Teacher,
which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord
your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew
22:36-40 (NIV)
27 Jesus
looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible,
but not with God; all things are possible with God.” Mark 10:27 (NIV)
18 Then
Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven
and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And
surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew
28:18-20 (NIV)
28 And
we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who
have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 (NIV)
31 So
whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1
Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)
BUTTER
“Jesus is the yes to every promise
of God.” William Barclay
“God’s
children run home when the storm comes. It is the heaven-born instinct of a
gracious soul to seek shelter from all ills beneath the wings of Jehovah. ‘He
who has made God his refuge’ might serve as the title of a true believer.” C. H. Spurgeon revised by Alistair Begg
“As a believer in Jesus walking in His will, the task ahead of you is
never as great as the Power behind you.
In Him is the strength to accomplish all He asks for us to do. Lean in and on Him. He will never let the righteous fall.” BHY
“All the attributes of God act in the
strength of love, and all the providences of God flow from the motions of
love. Love is the proper source of all
our other mercies.” Matthew Mead
“Believing that God rules
all, that He governs wisely, that He brings good out of evil, the believer’s
heart is assured, and he is enabled calmly to meet each trial as it comes. The
believer can in the spirit of true resignation pray, ‘Send me what thou wilt,
my God, so long as it comes from Thee; never came there an ill portion from Thy
table to any of Thy children.’” C. H.
Spurgeon
“See God in everything, and God will calm and color all that thou
doest see! It may be that the
circumstances of our sorrows will not be removed, their condition will remain
unchanged; but if Christ, as Lord and Master of our life, is brought into our
grief and gloom, ‘He will compass us about with songs of deliverance.’” Hannah
W. Smith
“Faith
in God will always be crowned.” William S. Plummer
“You will never need more than God can supply.” J. I. Packer
“God never made a promise that was too good to
be true.” Dwight L. Moody
“He shall lead you on with courage, and bring you off with
honour. He lived and died for you. For mercy and tenderness to His soldiers,
there is none like Him.” William Gurnall
“You will not go
astray in the company of God. Like Enoch, walk with God, and you cannot miss
your road. You have infallible wisdom to direct you, unchangeable love to
comfort you, and eternal power to defend you. ‘The LORD’—mark the word—'the
LORD will guide you continually.’”
C. H. Spurgeon
revised by Alistair
Begg
“Someone once asked Dwight Moody
how he managed to remain so close to Christ.
Moody replied, ‘I have come to Him as the best friend I have ever found,
and I trust Him in that relationship. I
have believed He is Savior; I have believed He is God; I have believed His
atonement on the cross is mine, and I have come to Him and submitted myself on
my knees, surrendered everything to Him, and got up and stood by His side as my
friend, and there isn’t any problem in my life, there isn’t any uncertainty in
my work bit I turn and speak to Him as naturally as to someone in the same
room, and I have done it these years because I can trust Jesus.’” Dwight Moody
“On Him then reckon, to Him
look, on Him depend: and be assured that
if you walk with Him, look to Him and expect help from Him, He will never fail
you. An older brother, who has known the
Lord for forty-four years, who writes this, says for your encouragement that He
has never failed him. In the greatest
difficulties, in the heaviest trials, in the deepest poverty and necessities,
He has never failed me; but because I was enabled by His grace to trust in Him,
He has always appeared for my help. I
delight in speaking well of His Name.” George
Mueller
“God means what He says and will do all He has promised.” Hudson Taylor
