keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great

The Lord
is with us in our mountaintops and in our valleys.

There is
always purpose in our pain – in all that He allows. He is within our “shadows”.

We are to
never shun the hard which brings us closer to Him. “No discipline seems pleasant at the time but
painful. Later on, however, it produces
a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:11.
